Now in its fourth year, Best of Wichita continues to celebrate the businesses, people, and places that make this city such a remarkable place to live, work, and grow. That same spirit shines through in Best of Wichita, a program created by The Wichita Eagle to honor local excellence and support the area’s vibrant business community. Over the past four years, it has become a cherished annual tradition, giving residents the chance to recognize the people and places that make Wichita special.

This year’s contest featured over 7,000 businesses, organizations, and individuals vying for a top-three spot across 248 categories. Community enthusiasm reached new heights with 634,000 votes cast, marking a 10 percent increase year over year. To finish in the top three of any category is a significant accomplishment, and each honoree should be incredibly proud of this recognition.
